The position is for an Interventional Cardiologist providing 24-hour inpatient call coverage at a Level II Trauma Center hospital in Idaho starting November 2025. The role focuses exclusively on inpatient care, performing interventional cardiology procedures such as balloon pumps, coronary stents, and other advanced cardiac interventions, supported by Advanced Practice Providers. Travel, housing, and malpractice insurance are covered by the hiring service, and the schedule involves no clinic responsibilities but a steady procedural volume.

- Bed Counts: 18 ICU beds, 18 telemetry beds, 10 CMU beds
- APP Support:
Weekdays 1 2 APPs on staff during the day
Weekends 1 APP for 5 hours/day
- Procedures Required: Interventional cardiology procedures, including balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs, and IFR
- Highly Preferred: TEE experience
- STEMI Volume: 3 activations per week (average based on 2020 data) Apr 16 (7a) Apr 21 (7a)
