This position is for a Pediatric Hospitalist at a non-profit hospital in central Maine, providing care for newborns, NICU patients, pediatric inpatients, and emergency consults. A reputable non-profit hospital in central Maine is adding a Pediatric Hospitalist. You will be part of a team of dedicated physicians who will contribute to the well-being of our patients in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the Position:
- Your choice of either 10 night shifts per month or 13-day shifts per month
- Provide care for well-newborns, Level II NICU and delivery attendance, pediatric inpatients, and emergency department consults
- State-of-the-art 190-bed facility
- 12 or 24-hour shifts available.
- In-house support from OBs, midwives, anesthesia, emergency medicine, and family medicine
- Pediatric subspecialty/NICU/PICU support available by phone
- Teaching responsibilities
- Average daily census of 4-6 patients
