Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to provide comprehensive inpatient medical care to hospitalized adult patients. The hospitalist will manage acute and chronic medical conditions, coordinate care across specialties, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered treatment throughout the hospital stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and diagnostic evaluation.
Coordinate patient care with consulting specialists, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary services.
Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning.
Provide timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Respond to rapid response events and clinical emergencies as required.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Active medical license to practice in State .
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in inpatient medicine.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
Hospital-based inpatient practice.
Shift-based schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Exposure to a broad range of acute medical conditions.
