CT Tech | Akron, OH | Mids
The CT Technologist operates CT and radiologic imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality CT scans and radiographs under indirect supervision. The role includes reviewing images with the radiologist, obtaining additional images as requested, assisting with invasive procedures, administering IV contrast, and ensuring accurate processing of patient records for timely results.
Requirements: Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registered, and licensed as a Radiographer in the State of Ohio. One year of Radiology Technology experience preferred; CT Registry preferred. Must be able to safely position and assist patients, perform IV contrast injections, utilize imaging and computer systems, and meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent lifting and patient movement.
