Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Psych unit will be responsible for providing care to adult behavioral health patients aged 18 years and above. The role involves managing patient needs, conducting medical evaluations, and potentially assuming charge duties.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care to adult behavioral health patients.
- Conduct medical evaluations and transfer needs to a medical hospital if necessary.
- Assume charge duties as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an involuntary/inpatient treatment facility.
- De-escalation certification (CPI or MOAB).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in behavioral health.
