Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehab position requiring at least 1 year of hospital experience and an active license by start date.
Responsibilities
- Work in an inpatient rehabilitation and acute care hospital setting
- Day shift with a 5x8 schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Weekend coverage required every other Saturday and Sunday with flexible time off as designated by management
- Floating required between inpatient rehab and acute care units
- No on-call requirements
- Cerner charting system is used
- Responsibilities include delivering occupational therapy services in both inpatient rehab and acute care settings
- Collaborative team environment with coordination across units
- Holiday shifts are optional and compensated at a premium rate
- Orientation and scheduling to be coordinated in advance by management
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license required by start date if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of recent hospital Occupational Therapist experience required
- First time travelers accepted if they have prior hospital experience
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- No temporary licensure accepted
- Grey scrubs required
