Facility:
This position is with a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans through conducting Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. The work may be performed at the provider's own office location or at specific locations in Uvalde, TX and Ft. Davis, TX.

Job Details:
• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans• PRN basis, ongoing need with flexible scheduling• Option to work half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours)• One-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments• Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing• No prescribing or treatment involved• Quick credentialing and onboarding process• Specialties accepted include family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with background in general medicine or experience with compensation and pension• Locations include provider's own office, Uvalde, TX (1 day per week needed), and Ft. Davis, TX (1 day per week needed)• Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)• Must have active and unrestricted full license• Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified• Follow-up administrative work required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics)• Local candidates only, travel included in rates• Cannot be active military duty, in the reserves, or actively employed at the VA
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
