Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology
Job Details:
• Work 5x8 hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Floating to similar units possible
• 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted if they have previous experience
• Required certifications: ARRT/CCI, BLS, ACLS
• South Carolina QRSA licensure required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must provide own radiation badge through agency
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Work in 2-room, 2-bed unit treating adolescents
• Perform diagnostic catheterizations on adults, permanent pacemaker insertions, pulmonary artery insertions, right heart catheterizations, temporary pacemakers, conduction studies, and insertion/programming of AICDs
• Skills include cardiac ablation, cardioversion, electrophysiology lab procedures, fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, and maintaining sterile technique
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks with guaranteed hours policy
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start
