This fellowship offers advanced training in emergency department operations, observation medicine, and leadership for recent emergency medicine residency graduates. The program includes mentorship, research opportunities, and an option to earn an MBA to prepare fellows for leadership roles in healthcare systems.
AdventHealth East Orlando is excited to offer a 1-year administrative emergency department observation fellowship, designed for recent emergency medicine (EM) residency graduates seeking advanced training in ED operations, observation medicine, and leadership.

This non-ACGME fellowship integrates clinical, administrative, and educational components to prepare future ED leaders. Fellows will gain hands-on experience in managing clinical operations, quality improvement, patient flow, and the development and oversight of observation unit protocols, while continuing to practice clinically in a high-volume, community-based academic ED.

- Completion of an ACGME-accredited emergency medicine residency program
- Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine
- Strong interest in ED leadership, operations, and observation medicine
