Board Certified - Maternal Fetal Medicine Medical Director
Job Details:
• Lead the Regional Maternal Fetal Medicine team located in West Michigan, covering Grand Rapids and the lakeshore• Provide physician leadership and oversight for the Maternal Fetal Medicine Service Line• Collaborate with Administrative Clinical Director for Women's & Children's Services in a dyad relationship• Work alongside OB/GYN Medical Directors for Grand Rapids and the Lakeshore• Oversee clinical leadership ensuring highest quality care for complex maternal fetal cases• Provide comprehensive patient-centered care for high-risk pregnancies• Offer diagnostic, consultative and management services• Work closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists for coordinated care• Collaborate with leadership to develop and enhance the Maternal Fetal Medicine program• Be accountable for quality, service excellence, colleague engagement, stewardship, and financial goals• Provide guidance and mentorship to medical students and residents• Minimum of 5 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine medical practice experience required (not including training)• 2+ years of work experience in a leadership role or completed leadership training preferred• Must be Board Certified in OB/GYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine• Must have or be willing to obtain Michigan license, DEA, BLS, and ACLS• On-call responsibilities shared with MFM Partner/Medical Director (mostly phone calls with hospital visits as needed)• Weekend call shared with MFM Partner/Medical Director
