Job Description
A Guerneville, California based client is seeking a Family Practice Physician to serve as the Medical Director for a community health center. This will be a mixed clinical and administrative role. An ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience or more and leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
- Current CA state medical license
- Completed an accredited residency program
- Current DEA certificate
- 5 years of experience as a primary care physician
- Current CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to medical staff, ensuring adherence to best practices, protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert, offering insights and recommendations on complex medical cases and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with the organization's mission and vision.
- Contribute to the development of clinical programs, quality improvement initiatives, and patient care pathways.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standard of care delivery.
- Analyze clinical data, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to enhance patient outcomes.
- Stay current with industry regulations, accreditation standards, and legal requirements, ensuring full compliance across all clinical operations.
- Provide clinical care on designated days per week, ensuring accessibility to patients and maintaining clinical skills.
