Sunrise Children s Hospital in Las Vegas, NV, is actively seeking a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to be part of a respected, high-acuity Level III NICU team. This facility provides 24/7 collaborative care and advanced neonatal interventions, making it an ideal place for professional growth and meaningful impact.
Job Responsibilities:- Join a collaborative team of 13 neonatologists and 12 advanced practice providers (NNPs/PAs).
- Deliver patient-centered care in a 72-bed Level III NICU with an average daily census of 60.
- Manage complex and critical neonatal cases, including ELBW infants.
- Utilize cutting-edge technologies including:
- Neonatal ECMO
- Jet and oscillatory high-frequency ventilation
- Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
- Whole-body cooling for hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE)
- Participate in dedicated neonatal resuscitation and transport teams.
- Collaborate with full-spectrum pediatric subspecialists, including cardiovascular surgery.
- Integrate care within a comprehensive pediatric ecosystem (PICU, CVICU, pediatric ER).
- Contribute to a compassionate care model focused on innovation and outcomes.
- Board Certified in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner NNP-BC (Required).
- Current APRN national specialty certification.
- Master s degree or higher in Nursing.
- Clean malpractice/licensure history (Highly Preferred).
- Willingness to obtain NV license (Required).
- Recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active) (Required).
- DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start (Required).
- Current APRN national specialty certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
- NV state license (or willingness to obtain).
- All necessary certifications and licenses must be maintained and documented.
