Position Details:Specialty Pharmacist - Oncology or ICU
Join Mercy's dedicated oncology team as a Specialty Pharmacist, where you'll play a vital role in supporting patients through complex cancer treatments. This position focuses on safe and effective medication management for oncology patients, serving as a clinical resource for physicians, nurses, and patients alike. You'll collaborate across disciplines to optimize therapeutic outcomes, ensure compliance with treatment protocols, and provide compassionate, expert guidance throughout the patient journey. Qualifications:
- Required Experience: Completed PGY-1 residency .
- Preferred Experience: Completed PGY-2 residency in Oncology or Critical Care
- Required Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in pharmacy degree.
- Certifications: Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) recommended or Board Certified Critical Care Pharmacist (BCCCP)
- Licensure: Requires a current pharmacist license from state of practice.
