Job Overview
The HP Print Operator plays a key role in ensuring efficient, high-quality digital printing operations, primarily working with HP IQHD - HP1 Printers. This position supports daily production goals through attention to detail, equipment care, and commitment to quality and safety standards.
The HP Print Operator plays a key role in ensuring efficient, high-quality digital printing operations, primarily working with HP IQHD - HP1 Printers. This position supports daily production goals through attention to detail, equipment care, and commitment to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret order specifications, setups, and special instructions accurately.
- Operate and maintain digital printing equipment per established procedures.
- Perform routine inspections and report repair or replacement needs.
- Monitor work-in-process and ensure jobs meet quality and productivity standards.
- Complete required quality documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain proper inventory levels for materials and supplies.
- Use raw materials efficiently and responsibly.
- Follow autonomous maintenance routines and assist with equipment upkeep.
- Participate in continuous improvement (ELS, Kaizen) and 5S workplace organization activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and technical aptitude.
- Proficient in basic math and comfortable using computers and email.
- Must be motivated to improve productivity, safety, and quality.
- Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to earn required certifications within set timeframes
- Preferred:
- Pre-press knowledge
- Digital printing experience, especially with HP printers
- HP 7K/6600 Level 1 or 2 Certification
- Hazardous materials training
