RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work as a registered nurse on a 34-bed medical surgical neurology unit with maximum capacity of 43 patients
• Patient ratios of 5:1
• Unit serves as general medical surgical floor and stroke/neurology designated unit
• Work with remote telemetry monitoring equipment
• Use Meditech electronic medical record system
• Required certification: BLS
• Preferred certifications: NIH Stroke certification and ACLS
• Dress code requires navy scrubs
• Work alongside charge nurse, multiple RNs, nursing techs, and unit secretary
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 techs, and 1 unit secretary at maximum capacity
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, and 1 unit secretary at maximum capacity
• Ideal candidate should be upbeat, engaged, and compassionate
