As a Palliative Nurse Practitioner in our hospice program, you will play a vital role in supporting patients and families through challenging times, ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life. This part-time travel position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while maintaining control over your schedule.
Required Skills:
- Valid NP licensure with current certification
- Pediatric experience (PEDS) is essential
- Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of palliative care
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities
- Ability to perform face-to-face evaluations and provide home visits
- Familiarity with Medicare recertification processes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in inpatient rounding or working within SNF or care facilities
- Knowledge of hospice regulations and guidelines
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
- Prior experience with telehealth or remote patient management
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- At least 2 years of experience in hospice, palliative, or pediatric care
- Previous experience in a home health or travel nursing role
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel within the Fresno area for patient visits
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling, including full or half days
- Reliable transportation and valid driver s license

Hourly Pay Rate: $78.39
