The Hazmat Truck Driver at CHS Inc. is responsible for safely transporting fuel within the Sioux Falls area, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. The role requires a Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement and offers a Monday-Friday daytime schedule with occasional Saturdays. Drivers will also assist warehouse staff and maintain safety protocols while meeting business demands.

Summary
CHS is looking for a hazmat truck driver to join our team in Sioux Falls! This individual will haul fuel around the Sioux Falls and surrounding areas. The schedule for this role will be Monday-Friday, daytime hours, and drivers will be home daily. We are looking for a driver who will have availability on Saturdays as needed when things are busy.
This role is eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus. $1500 will be paid after 30 days, and an additional $1500 after 1 year in the role.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and on time deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. To include but not limited to pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service.
- Assist in the warehouse when not delivering product.
- Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions
- Assist warehouse staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- 2+ years of CDL driving experience
- Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement
- Must meet minimum age requirement
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals
Additional Qualifications
- Tanker and Air Brake endorsements
- Must meet DOT and Company requirements
- Ability to work additional hours and occasional Saturdays to meet business demands
- Bulk liquid experience preferred
- Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. If required, selected candidates must pass pre-employment screenings to include all or a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse.

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
