AlliedTravelCareers is working with Windsor Healthcare Recruitment Group, Inc. to find a qualified Rad Tech in Charleston, West Virginia, 25301!
Submission Requirements: Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years Individual unit requirements listed in pulse apply. Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email We are only permitted to submit 2 candidates per opening, if the position is at max, we will hold on to the submission if a spot opens up. Department: Radiology - General X-Ray General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: ARRT Radiology Tech, WV State License How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 2 Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Daily Operations includes the OR cases, Pain Center (Spine cases w/ C-Arm)) and One Day Surgery (Spine caases w/C-arm) Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Basic Diagnostic radiolography, C-arm cases for the OR and Spine Centers, Portable radiographs Experience or 'Must have' skills: Basic skills, c-arm experience Average # of scans/studies per day: Varies on assignment, approx.. 35-50 pain cases, dept and main OR rotation 15 EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: EPIC, FJUI Synapse Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Del Medical Radiolgraph rooms, Canon Soltus mobile xray unit, AGFA mobile x-ray unit, OEC c-arms Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Lora Hall Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No Radiologist in-house? No Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) No Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Mon-Friday 8-4:30, No-self-scheduling, no block Weekend Requirements: No Holiday Requirements: No Call or Standby requirement? Response time? No Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?
