My name is Mona with Protouch staffing, A client partner of ours is looking for an Emergency Medicine Physician Coverage in Ohio for a full time position.
Client is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician with above average communication skills in Mason City, IA.
- A physician in the Emergency Department provides quality patient care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The duties of the physician cannot be rigidly defined, but the following description characterizes common expectations of the position. The primary responsibilities may not be interpreted to prohibit functions not specifically identified.
- Level III Trauma Center
- 30,000 visits/year
- Full-service hospital with a 24/7 Hospitalist program, air medical and ambulance services, CT/MRI in the department, bed-side ultrasound, and point-of-use supplies in every room
- 42 hours of physician coverage/day
- Tertiary center with 300+ physicians & specialist support to keep patients in house- Trauma surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, GI, ENT, Pediatric Hospitalists, OBGYN, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Neurology, Infectious Disease, Ortho Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Anesthesia, Radiology, etc.
- Only transfers out
- Practice at one site!
- Hospital-employed position!
- 24/7 scribe coverage and experienced, seasoned nursing staff
- Teaching opportunity- residents, med-students, PA/ARNP students
- Accepting H1B visa waiver candidates (no J1)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3 years of eligibility, with plans to test) in Emergency Medicine - REQUIRED
- ER Residency Program and/or ER Fellowship to be completed prior to start (note in "Experience" field) - REQUIRED
- IA license or IMLC (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
