Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a qualified RN for a Cardiac ICU position, requiring a KS or compact RN license and AHA certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a 22-bed Cardiac ICU within a hospital setting
- Night shift hours are 19:00-07:30
- 13-week contract assignment
- Provide care for critically ill cardiac patients in the ICU setting
- Orientation includes on-site crisis prevention and management training
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
- All candidates are subject to a radius rule, with local applicants eligible at a reduced rate
- Only one application allowed within the Ascension system at a time
Requirements
- Active KS RN license or compact state RN license
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Completion of CPI Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills or MOAB De-Escalation Course prior to start and on-site physical confrontations course at orientation
- Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days before assignment start
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a permanent US home address
