Location: Toledo, OH
Position Type: Locum NP/PA Cardiothoracic Surgery

Seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery NP or PA for a locum assignment providing inpatient post-op floor and ICU care. This role supports an open position and new hire training, with coverage across multiple hospital locations under a single credentialing process.

• Coverage across multiple hospital locations (single provider credentialed for all)

• Inpatient post-op floor and ICU care

• Level I Trauma Center

• Average 12 patients per day

• APP works autonomously

• Supervising physician rounds daily and is available 24/7 by phone

• EMR: EPIC
  
  

• ANCC or AANP Certification REQUIRED

• Active Ohio license REQUIRED

• BLS & ACLS REQUIRED

• Relevant training and experience in cardiothoracic surgery REQUIRED

• 100% clean background required (no exceptions)
  
  

• Coverage: 10 days per month, covering two weekends

• Coverage period: January April (then TBD)

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

• Call: 10 days/month

• Call ratio: 1:3

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: days (may be expedited if file is clean)
  
  

• Suture removal

• Diagnose and treat illnesses

• Order and interpret tests

• Write prescriptions

• Coordinate patient care

• Daily rounding

• Pre-operative physical exams

• Patient population: Adult and geriatric
