The Cardiology Physician provides consultative care for inpatients at a Level 1 trauma acute care hospital, focusing on cardiograms and nuclear stress tests. The position involves a 7 on/7 off rotation with no ICU or follow-up responsibilities and requires board certification and appropriate licensing. The physician will work alongside nurse practitioners and physician assistants, serving around 10 patients daily in a high-capacity hospital setting.
Schedule
- Hours: 7 00
- Options:
- 8-hour days starting at 7am or 8am, Monday Friday
- 7on/7off rotation
- Call: None
- Coverage Needed: 2 weeks per month
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Contract Length: 1 year (client prefers candidates who can commit up to 1 year; they note it takes at least 6 months to get fully trained and up to speed, so only candidates offering a minimum of 1 year will be reviewed)
