Job Title: Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director
Position Summary:
Join a well-established pediatric hospitalist practice in a vibrant healthcare facility located in Pocatello, Idaho. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership to the Pediatric Unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Consult with pediatric patients in both the emergency department and surgical departments.
- Adhere to a 7 on 7 off schedule, with the opportunity to round in the hospital and be on call from home.
- Collaborate with a sister program located just 30 minutes away for improved patient care and consultation.
- Engage with educational opportunities, including a potential faculty appointment with the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.
- Participate in leadership development and training initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Pediatrics.
- Board Certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
- Idaho medical license or eligibility for IMLC, with the willingness to obtain necessary licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a leadership role in a clinical setting.
- DEA registration required before starting.
- CSR/CDS registration required before starting.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Pediatrics - Required
- Board Certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine - Required
- Idaho Medical License or IMLC Compact-eligible - Required
