The role involves weeknight call coverage, teaching opportunities, and utilizing EMR systems in a busy regional orthopedic surgery hub.
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8a 5p + weeknight call only (no weekends)
Setting: Inpatient, ED consults, OR-based practice
Join a busy orthopedic surgery team serving as a regional hub for trauma, joint replacement, and fracture care. This is a high-volume, hands-on role with full support staff and access to surgical and diagnostic resources.
Call: Weeknights only, no weekends
Procedures: Total joints, fracture care, trauma injuries, sports medicine
Support: 4 MDs (as of July), cast techs, nurse support, schedulers, reception
EMR: GE Centricity (clinic), EPIC (hospital)
Teaching opportunities with IM/FM residents + PA students
Imaging, Lab, Pharmacy
2 exam rooms + 3 cast rooms per provider
Census: Mainly consults; hospital sees 160 patients/day
Board Certified or Board EligibleRequired
