Cardiac OR Operating Room - Registered Nurse

Job DescriptionThe Adult Cardiac OR cares for a wide variety of patients including CABGs, TAVIs, and Heart Failure treatments (VADs, ECMO, Artificial Heart, and Heart Transplants). Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, the OR staff provides care for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a cardiac operating room setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures as necessary.
- Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies effectively.
- RN License (New York License ONLY)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Two (2) years of experience as an operating room nurse is required.
- Experience in a level 1 trauma center is preferred.
- Able to scrub and circulate effectively during surgical procedures.
