You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for all personnel and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter breaches and respond appropriately to any suspicious behavior or activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or drills.
• Maintain a visible presence while patrolling to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
• Applicants must provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or have an associate degree or sixty college credits or possess a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
