Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver care with a focus on 65% benign hematology and 35% malignant oncology
- Participate in Tumor Board meetings
- Manage bone marrow transplant cases
- Oversee blood bank activities
- Order diagnostic tests and imaging
- Prescribe appropriate treatments
- Supervise administration of chemotherapy by nurse oncologists
Additional Information
- Board certification in Medical Oncology is required
- Active South Carolina license or eligibility to obtain one is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
- Clean background required for emergency privileges
- Current NPDB required for presentation
