Required Skills:
- Proven expertise in general surgical procedures
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Certification in Surgery and valid medical license
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with minimally invasive techniques
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years of post-residency surgical experience
- Demonstrated ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Willingness to participate in call rotation (Monday through Sunday, 7 am to 7 pm, one week at a time)
- Compliance with all necessary licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements
- Travel reimbursement and other related expenses covered when applicable
