Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience, specializing in hand therapy, for a primarily outpatient rehab position.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in an outpatient rehab setting with some inpatient responsibilities
• Serve both adult and pediatric patient populations using standard occupational therapy equipment
• Variable 8–10 hour shifts with possible weekend coverage
• Schedule may include 5 eight-hour days or 4 ten-hour days per week
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Manage individualized, goal-directed occupational therapy care based on established therapy processes and state practice guidelines
• Business casual dress code is required
• Both adult and pediatric patients are treated
• Orientation specific to the department is provided

Requirements

• Current Alaska Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent occupational therapy experience
• Applicants must be hand therapists
