A General Radiologist is needed in Arizona for a 6-month to one-year assignment at a medical center, requiring no call duties. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging such as CT, ultrasound, and X-ray, along with basic imaging-guided procedures including fluoroscopy, biopsies, and catheter placements. Candidates must be board certified or eligible, possess an active Arizona medical license, and be comfortable handling emergency diagnostic studies and general radiology tasks.

My client in sunny Arizona is in need of a General Radiologist to provide long term coverage starting in October. This assignment will be 6 months to one year, or until a perm is hired.
The DX/IR Volume and breakdown is: 65-70 % General, 25-30% procedures.
Modalities and responsibilities include: Diagnostic and ED STATs Must be comfortable with general radiology including CT, US, and x-ray No mammography, IR, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, or CTA responsibilities.
Procedures are: fluoroscopy, magnetic resonance imaging without angiography, diagnostic venography, arthrography, and performance of basic imaging-guided procedures with fluoroscopy (including myelography), ultrasound, CT and MRI including biopsy, drainage and therapeutic procedures (tube and catheter placement) and catheter exchange over wire.
Must have an active AZ license to be considered.
