Full-time, permanent/ongoing role; start on 1st shift for training, then 2nd shift; on-site at manufacturing plant. - High School diploma or GED - 2+ years manufacturing experience - Knowledge of injection molding, machine ops, and CI/Lean methods - Able to lift 55 lbs, work at heights and in tight spaces - Fork truck/crane license preferred; basic MS Office/ERP skills

Now Hiring 1st/2nd Shift Production Set-Up Technician
Train on 1st shift then move to 2nd shift once trained.
Pay: up to $17.65hr Depending on Experience
 
Job Responsibilities:  

   Accountable for set up of assigned production lines

   Perform production machine setups including mold changes when work cell areas are changing to a new product

   Perform setup of auxiliary equipment including sonic welders, etc

   Perform setup of take out robots

   Support troubleshooting activities while production machines are in operation

   Maintain machine logbooks and Lean 5S protocols

   Make recommendations to maintenance and tool room on setup improvements

   Interface with maintenance, tool room, and production teams

   Demonstrate Safe and On-Time work ethic; adhere to safety procedures at all times

   Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

High School Diploma or GED 

2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment 

Experience working in a Lean facility preferred. 

Demonstrated understanding of injection molding, machine operations, and continuous improvement methods 

Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow written work instructions and production schedules 

Demonstrated basic ability with Microsoft Office Products and ERP systems 

Demonstrated ability to maintain open communications and tenacious follow up  

Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities 

Licensed Fork Truck and Crane Operator preferred 

Ability to sit, stand, bend/twist, work in high places, negotiate tight spaces, lift up to 55 lbs, travel throughout the facility, and differentiate between all colors
