The part-time Vascular Technologist performs both basic and advanced vascular ultrasound procedures under the supervision of the Nursing Manager, prioritizing work based on departmental needs. The role requires national certification in vascular sonography and three years of acute care experience in vascular diagnostics. This position is based at Providence Medical Foundation, providing patient-centered care in a collaborative and inclusive healthcare environment.
Description
Under the general supervision of the Nursing Manager, this role performs basic and complex vascular ultrasound procedures as defined in policies and procedures. Organizes and prioritizes work in accordance with department needs and completes assignments within assigned times. Quality of work and work schedules are supervised by Manager.

Required Qualifications:
- Upon hire: National Registered Vascular Technologist. Or
- Upon hire: National Registered Vascular Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Or
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography. Or
- Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Or
- Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer. Or
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 3 years Acute care experience in Vascular Diagnostic patient setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience with IAC accreditation submission.
