RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No call requirements
• Weekend requirements: 6 weekend shifts per schedule for night shift (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Patient ratios of 2:1 and 1:1
• Work with specialized equipment including GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Centrimag ECMO Circuits, Impella CP & 5.5, Prismax CRRT machines, Tablo SLED machines, Maquet Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Dress code requires navy scrubs
• Must have experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms
• Must have experience with titratable drips
• Must understand hemodynamics
• Must have experience with respiratory patients including vents, Bipap, trachs, and airvo
• Must have experience with open heart surgery recovery
• Must have experience with ECMO, Impella, and balloon pumps
• Must have experience with CRRT/SLED
• Assist with procedures including central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, and intubation
• CVICU charge experience preferred
• Must be a team player with positive attitude and adaptability

Facility:

This medical center features an 8-bed CVICU unit located on the 4th floor with a dedicated team of 25 staff members. The facility specializes in critical care with advanced cardiac and ECMO capabilities, providing comprehensive care for complex cardiovascular and respiratory patients. The unit maintains high standards for patient care with appropriate staffing ratios and state-of-the-art medical equipment for intensive cardiac monitoring and life support.
