Position Overview:
The CT Technologist provides timely diagnostic imaging services for both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The technologist demonstrates proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures. Additional duties include knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.
