Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute, a part of Atrium Health, is currently seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Electrophysiologist to join the existing faculty at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
Ideal Candidates Will Be:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology
- Interested in busy procedural and outpatient practice in a growing hospital with a new hospital tower being built.
- Competent in a variety of procedural skills, including complex ablations and a variety of device implants.
- Seeking a clinical opportunity in an academically minded practice using the latest cutting-edge equipment and having clinical research interest.
About the Practice & Position:
- Consists of 14 EP physicians and 17 EP APPs across 3 primary hospitals in the Charlotte metro region; our expert EP trained APPs serve as partners for our clinic follow-ups, hospital consults, and procedural work.
- Physician call rotation includes 1:6 weekend coverage
- Schedule includes approximately 3 days per week in the EP lab doing procedures and 1-2 days per week in clinic.
- This physician will primarily practice at the 1,000+ bed Carolinas Medical Center hospital. Most physicians in the group have a monthly outreach clinic.
