Job Details:
• Deliver quality nursing care through utilization of the nursing process
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing practice standards
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients
• Plan and implement nursing care according to patient and family needs
• Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions
• Direct, coordinate and delegate activities to foster patient/family centered care
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float to telemetry units: CSU, 3 South, 4 South and Med Surg units: 3 West, 4 West and IPR
• 3+ years of telemetry experience required
• Completion of 1 travel assignment required
• Paragon EMR experience preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• BLS certification required
• Michigan nursing license required with LARA and Nursys verification
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
• Must maintain strict attendance policy - 3 strikes for absences or being more than 20 minutes late results in immediate termination
• Follow clinical interview process with decisions typically made same day or next business day
