Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Belleville, IL (62226) – Greater St. Louis Area
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Telemetry Unit
• Job Type: Travel Nursing Contract

• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15), 3 shifts/week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Navy
• Parking: Free on-site
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1960 - $2010

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and valid Illinois RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry Registered Nurse experience
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association)
• Proficient in cardiac drips (no titration), sheath pulls, and central line management
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required
• Ability to float to all inpatient units at both Belleville and Memorial East campuses
• Compliance with hospital policies, including fit testing and flu vaccination (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• References preferred at time of submittal
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage cardiac drips, and perform sheath pulls
• Provide central line care, tracheostomy care, and wound care/wound vac management
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation as needed
• Participate in hourly rounding and bedside shift reports for all assigned patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Float within scope to meet facility needs at both Belleville and Memorial East campuses
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC
