This position is a locum tenens opportunity for board-certified Family Practice or General Medicine physicians to perform non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and separation health assessments for veterans across multiple U.S. states. The role offers flexible scheduling options, no prescribing or treatment responsibilities, and includes training and certification in Disability Medical Assessment. Physicians will conduct standardized evaluations, complete DBQ forms, and submit reports promptly, supporting high-quality veteran care with a focus on professionalism and dignity.

Position Highlights:

Two Setting Options:
Perform exams at facilities
OR schedule exams within your own private practiceNo Treatment or Prescribing Exams only
$650 Bonus for completing required training and first shift
Training Provided Including DBQ completion and Disability Medical Assessment (DMA) Certification
Rapid Credentialing
Multiple locations across the U.S. Local candidates preferred
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments
Evaluate musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological systems
Perform range of motion and strength testing using a goniometer
Complete and submit standardized DBQ forms (no narrative reports required)
Record review and administrative follow-up including addendums, opinions, and reading diagnostics
Submit reports within 48 hours of exam completion via portal
Requirements:
Board Certification REQUIRED
Active, unrestricted state license REQUIRED
BLS certification (Required)
DMA Certification Willingness to complete (required to start)
Must provide full home address (for onboarding)
