ICU Travel Nurse Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025, End: 3/14/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: 10-bed Critical Care Unit
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
• Location: Auburn, NY 13021 (New York ICU nursing jobs)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York State
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• AHA NIHSS certification and 6 CEUs on Stroke-related topics (completed before start date)
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical units as needed
• Proctored EKG exam required on Day 1
• COVID vaccine not required (proof or declination accepted); Flu vaccine or declination required

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality critical care nursing to patients in a 1:2 RN:patient ratio
• Manage ventilators, drips, arterial lines, and central lines
• Respond to medical codes and emergencies
• Document patient care using Allscripts, Paragon, or McKesson EMR systems
• Provide leadership as charge nurse when assigned
• Float to Medical-Surgical units as required
• Participate in ongoing education and maintain all required nursing certifications
