American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU night shift position requiring a current MA RN license and Level 3 or 4 NICU background.
Responsibilities- Position is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of a hospital
- Level 3 or 4 NICU providing care for critically ill newborns
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week, from 19:00 to 07:30
- Epic EMR system is used and experience is required
- Provide nursing care to critically ill neonates in a high-acuity NICU
- Mandatory completion of pre-start and orientation modules
- Pass/fail EKG testing required during orientation with one attempt allowed
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required
- A third-party education verification is required for all travelers
- Active MA RN license required; conditional license accepted
- At least 2 years of recent experience in a Level 3 or 4 NICU
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Previous Epic experience required
- Must reside at least 200 miles from the facility
- Successful completion of modules and a pass/fail EKG exam during orientation is required
