Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU night shift position requiring a current MA RN license and Level 3 or 4 NICU background.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of a hospital
• Level 3 or 4 NICU providing care for critically ill newborns
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week, from 19:00 to 07:30
• Epic EMR system is used and experience is required
• Provide nursing care to critically ill neonates in a high-acuity NICU
• Mandatory completion of pre-start and orientation modules
• Pass/fail EKG testing required during orientation with one attempt allowed
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required
• A third-party education verification is required for all travelers

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; conditional license accepted
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a Level 3 or 4 NICU
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Previous Epic experience required
• Must reside at least 200 miles from the facility
• Successful completion of modules and a pass/fail EKG exam during orientation is required
