Unit Details:
Beds: 4
Staffing: 1 RN and 1 tech per shift
Patient Ratio: 1:4
EMR: Meditech
Scheduling: Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating weekends
Floating: May float to Med-Surg/Telemetry units
Patient Experience: Requires bedside shift report, personal connection with each patient, and updated whiteboards every shift
Hospital Requirements:
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Hiring Profile
Must Have:
Stepdown, Telemetry, or Acute Care experience
Strong assessment and prioritization skills
Advanced Skills Preferred:
Cardiac monitoring/telemetry interpretation
Management of stable drips, post-op or stepdown-level patients
