Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team. This position is primarily outpatient at this time.
Position Highlights:
- Primary outpatient psychiatry
- Assist in coverage of inpatient services as needed
- Expected schedule: M-F
- Required to supervise mid-levels (APP s)
- Opportunities to pick up additional shifts for consults via telehealth and/or in-person across the Piedmont system
- Open to supervision of medical students
- Call (if needed) for outpatient clinic
- Epic EMR
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
- Active or eligible for medical licensure in Georgia
- Experience supervising APP s is preferred
- Strong clinical and leadership skills Provide evaluation and management of psychiatric patients
- Previous experience with ketamine and TMS preferred
- Experience treating both adults and adolescents preferred
