RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 45-bed Emergency Department with 102 total staff members
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Weekend requirements: 4 weekend shifts per schedule - Saturday & Sunday for day shift, Friday & Saturday night for night shift
• Work with GE Monitors & EKGs, Life Pak Monitors, and Pyxis Medication Dispensing System
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform typical emergency procedures including reduction/splinting, chest tube placement, accessing Port-a-Caths, blood product administration, and intubation
• Ultrasound Guided IV Placement skills preferred
• Must maintain respectful, team-oriented attitude and stay calm under pressure
• Required certifications: TNCC, ENPC, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs
• No floating to other areas required
• Located on 1st floor of Central Tower building
