Competitive locum role with advanced IR suite in Phoenix and flexible ongoing assignment. Vascular/Interventional Radiologist — Day shift, onsite inpatient IR coverage in Phoenix, AZ. Dates: Sept 2026 – ongoing locum. Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MST, seven days/week coverage with 1:4 call rotation. Maintain ≥60 RVUs/shift; perform biopsies, drains, nephrostomy/gastrostomy, embolization, IVC filters, fistulagram/declot, biliary/venous procedures. Powerscribe One dictation; advanced imaging/PACS. - Board certification in Vascular/Interventional Radiology (required)
- Active medical license to practice in Arizona (or compact/able to obtain)
- Experience in interventional procedures and on-call fluoroscopy
- Ability to meet productivity standard (≥60 RVUs/shift)
- Availability for locum tenens starting Sept 2026

The clinician will provide onsite interventional radiology services seven days per week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST with call coverage rotated among the current IR practice. Daily responsibilities include performing interventional procedures such as biopsies, drain placements, nephrostomy and gastrostomy tube insertions, embolizations, IVC filter placements, and fistulagram procedures with declot interventions. The position requires maintaining a minimum productivity standard of 60 RVUs per shift while providing general fluoroscopy procedures as the IR on-call clinician covers fluoroscopy call responsibilities. Board certification in Vascular/Interventional Radiology is mandatory for this locum tenens assignment.
