Job Description: Emergency Medicine Physician
We are currently seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team of physicians and highly-skilled advanced practice practitioners at our regional hospital in south Georgia. As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality and efficient emergency medical care to our diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions.
- Diagnose and treat patients in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and timely patient care.
- Supervise and provide guidance to medical students and residents, offering opportunities for precepting and mentorship.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Work a schedule of twelve, 12-hour shifts per month, totaling up to 144 hours per month.
- Additional compensation provided for extra call shifts.

- Quarterly profit sharing among the emergency medicine physicians

- Qualifications:
- Completion or upcoming completion of an accredited emergency medicine residency program.
- Board certification as a physician is required, or board certification eligibility (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 4 years).
- Possess current certifications and licensures necessary to practice emergency medicine.
