The Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care to adult patients recovering from or preparing for surgery in various hospital units such as the Operating Room and Intensive Care Units. Responsibilities include tracheostomy care, telemetry monitoring, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The role requires a Massachusetts RN license and at least two years of relevant med-surg, tracheotomy, and telemetry experience.

- Provide med-surg nursing care for adult patients recovering from or preparing for surgical procedures
- Perform tracheostomy care, including suctioning and routine maintenance of tracheostomy tubes
- Monitor telemetry patients, tracking vital signs and heart activity in real-time
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state healthcare regulations
- Float between departments as needed
- Registered Nurse license holder in MA
- 2+ years of med-surg nursing experience in a hospital setting
- 2+ years of tracheotomy experience, including suctioning and tube maintenance
- 2+ years of telemetry experience, monitoring vital signs and cardiac activity
