A healthcare organization in New York is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to support their outpatient cardiac clinic. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with low patient volume and strong support on-site.
About the Opportunity:
- Setting: Outpatient
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM
- Coverage Dates: January-June 2026
- Volume: Fewer than 10 patients per day
- Support: Nurse Practitioner on-site
- EMR: EPIC
- Travel: Local candidates preferred; travel options available
Responsibilities:
The Non-Invasive Cardiologist will be responsible for:
- Conducting outpatient cardiac evaluations and follow-up visits
- Managing conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and risk assessment
- Completing pre-operative cardiac clearances
- Collaborating with referring providers and clinic staff
- Documenting all encounters within the EMR system
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Cardiology
- Active New York medical license
- ACLS certification
- Experience in outpatient cardiac care
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a low-volume setting
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience in community or outpatient cardiology
- Familiarity with EPIC
- Comfort managing a wide range of non-invasive cardiac conditions
