Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a seasonal travel Med/Surg Neuro/Ortho position on night shifts requiring a KS or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med Surg Tower with a focus on neuro and ortho patients
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Thirteen-week seasonal travel contract
• Care for neurological and orthopedic adult patient populations
• Hospital environment with variable neuro/ortho cases
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological and orthopedic conditions
• Adhere to facility and unit protocols specific to neuro and ortho care
• No Canadian Social Security Numbers accepted for consideration
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent neuro/ortho Med/Surg RN experience
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC, valid through at least the first 30 days of assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
