Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract assignment in Fayetteville, NC. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, treat, and care for patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator support
• Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gases (ABGs) and pulmonary function tests
• Respond to emergency situations, including code blue and rapid response events
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards

Requirements:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC)
• North Carolina Respiratory Therapist license (or eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of RRT experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS certification preferred/required per facility
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
