Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Telemetry Float position requiring a ME or compact RN license and two years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is for a Nursing Float unit in a hospital setting
- Role involves floating across multiple units and potentially facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
- Patient population includes Med/Surg and telemetry patients
- Night shift schedule, 18:45 to 07:15
- Med/Surg telemetry patient care on a float basis
- Candidates may be required to float between facilities up to 25 miles away
- Local travelers within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are subject to different pay rates and are not eligible for renewals or extensions
- No travel pairs or groups allowed
- Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this
Requirements
- Active ME or compact RN license required
- Minimum of two years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Driver’s License must be provided at time of consideration
